Not only has rosé been the fastest growing major wine category during the last few years, but different styles have been gaining traction. One such rosé which has been drawing attention is Meerhof Wines’ Premium Grenache Rosé.

With its pleasing pale colour, this barrel-fermented wine has cleansing, fruity flavours with a refreshing hint of Turkish Delight. The rewarding taste profile is full and lush with a smooth finish. Highly approachable and enjoyable with acidic white cheeses and berry partners, as well as seafood, lamb, chicken, salads and spicy Asian food.

And being ever so quaffable, you can sip Meerhof’s Premium Grenache Rosé from mid-day to midnight. No problem.

Owned by Koos van Rensburg and his son Erik, Meerhof Wines has a 700-ton production capacity. Under the expertise of winemaker Jaco Brand, the estate is going places with its wines. Currently the range comprises four whites, five reds, two rosés and a specialty straw wine.

Gaze over the grand valley while tasting the wines on this comely farm – accompanied by some agreeable food at the on-site restaurant.
